Free Trade Agreement between the EU and Georgia: assessment of impact


Description

UNDP assisted the Ministry of Economic Development of Georgia in determining the impact of a potential free trade agreement between the EU and Georgia on the economy and political situation of both parties.

The project also assisted the government and donors in defining what needs to be accomplished to maximize the benefits and minimize any negative effects of a potential free trade agreement to the country’s economy.

The project supported a neutral third-party study on the impact of a potential free trade agreement between the EU and Georgia by an expert team of international and national consultants.
