Improving management capacity of the Tbilisi State University
Description
The project is implemented under the larger initiative: Capacity Building Fund (CBF), which aims to support reforms in the public sector of Georgia.
The project is designed to assist the Tbilisi State University (TSU) to improve its management capacities and to introduce the open source university management software (N.O.A.H.). This will help the University to comply with the European accreditation standards for higher educational institutions.
The project aims to help the University to develop an action plan for the optimization of human, financial and time resources, and the creation of a student-oriented environment.
The sub-project outcomes will positively affect overall university performance and facilitate timely implementation of TSU Development Strategy (2009-2012).
The project activities include:
- Consultancy in Strategic Development
- Assessment of needs and capacities
- Adaptation of the N.O.A.H. software to the University needs
- Training and follow-up
